Mike Messere played attack and midfielder at SUNY Cortland from 1963 to 1966. He has coached the West Genesee Varsity program from 1976 to 1991. He has a Varsity record of 335 wins, 13 losses. His teams have compiled a record 16 League Championships and 7 undefeated State Championships. As a coach, he has tied the National record of 91 consecutive wins. Messere is being inducted into the Hall of Fame under the category of a Great Coach.
