Burns was a three-time All-American at Syracuse University and was part of the 1988, 1989, and 1990 NCAA Championship runs, earning the Lt. Col. Jack Turnbull Award, which is presented to the nation’s top attackman. Attended Jamesville-DeWitt High School.
