Don King is about to begin his second decade as Head Coach of the Cortland High School Lacrosse team. A graduate of Fairport High School (1960) and Cortland State (1964), he lettered in both football and lacrosse. Following stints as an assistant coach at Penn State and with the U.S. Army, he earned his Master’s Degree at Cortland. Since 1969 he has coached both football and lacrosse at Cortland High School. His teams won the New York State Class B Championship in 1988, Division titles in 1989, 1990 and 1994. He was selected Section III Coach of the Year in 1989. He is also a member of the USLCA Century Club, Coach of the Empire Games and Coach of the North-South High School Game in Baltimore.
