’12 has been selected to the Upstate NY Lacrosse Foundation Hall Of Fame Class of 2024.

Brigandi attended Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, NY graduating in 2008. During her time there she was a two-sport varsity athlete playing both soccer and lacrosse. Brigandi was a second-team All-CNY selection in 2007 and played on the Empire State team summer of 2007. In 2008, Brigandi was an All-American at CBA, first-team All-CNY, and led the state with a section 3 record of 121 goals during her senior year at CBA.

A 2019 inductee into the Le Moyne Gold Wave Hall of Fame and a 2023 inductee into the Northeast-10 Hall of Fame, Brigandi was a two-time IWLCA All-America and Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference First Team selection. At Le Moyne, She tallied 217 points on 182 goals and 35 assists over 49 career games played while adding 67 draw controls and 49 ground balls. She led the Dolphins to consecutive NCAA Division II tournament berths as a junior and senior and the program’s first NE10 regular season championship in 2012. After her career, she held the program’s record for goals and ranked third in points, while she currently ranks tied for fourth in goals and ninth in points. She still is the program’s leader in goals per game (3.71) and free-position goals (51) and ranks second in points per game (4.43).

Brigandi led the Dolphins to their first NCAA Championship semifinals in 2011 with a then-program record of 106 points on a program-best and Division II-leading 87 goals and 19 assists. On April 3 at Merrimack, she tallied a program-best nine goals in a 20-9 victory. After entering her senior season as a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, she earned IWLCA Midfielder of the Year and Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year accolades after leading the Dolphins back to the NCAA semifinals. Le Moyne’s Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior, she is one of only two players in the program’s history to lead the team in goals three times.

After Le Moyne, Brigandi was one of the first women to be selected to be a part of the first-ever women’s post-collegiate lacrosse team in 2013. Brigandi is one of 10 players signed by STX, a global sporting goods leader. She was one of four midfielders and the only player selected from an NCAA Division II program. Brigandi was then selected to be the face of the Crux-500 STX stick head which was the popular women’s stick during her time with STX.

Brigandi also commentated girls’ and women’s lacrosse games for Spectrum and ESPN for the NYS Sectional and State Championships and the Syracuse women’s lacrosse games from 2013 until 2018.

Brigandi is now a Vice Principal at her alma mater, Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, NY. Brigandi is a board member on the Upstate NY Lacrosse Board, Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame Board, and the Dolphin Athletic Association Board (where she serves as the second vice president for the Dolphins).
